Minimalist, transparent pendant luminaire
Just like almost all Castiglioni lamps before, also the 1996 by Flos designed Fucsia Pendant history. The filigree luminaire inspires with its cone-shaped, transparent glass shade, which allows a view of the narrow light stick inside. A striking feature is the lower ring on the shade, which was deliberately sandblasted for a matt look.
Fucsia is ideal as accent lighting above a small table in the living room, but also works well in combined form above the kitchenette or dining table. High rooms are preferable, because Fucsia hangs from a feed cable a good 2.60 metres long.
Glass, steel and polyamide
The shade is made of mouth-blown glass and the lamp body of glossy white powder-coated tubular steel. The canopy is made of glass fibre reinforced polyamide.
