Plant-shaped pendant light The Heracleum pendant light by Moooi takes its name and shape from the Heracleum plant, known in Germany as “Bärenklau.” Frequently branched stems and broad-lobed leaves are characteristic of this rare plant, which inspired designer Bertjan Pot
The stems of the delicate Heracleum II light branch out from a single stem into thin strands, creating a light fixture that is both technical and organic. The strands end in a leaf that also serves as a diffuser for the light emitted by the 45 LED bulbs. The lamp’s “leaves” are also movable, allowing the sculptural fixture to be adjusted as needed.
