Light suspension lamp made of papier-mâché
The Salago Suspension Lamp is an exceptional and modern lamp made of papier-mâché and wood pulp, which was designed by the Dutch designer Danny Fang for Moooi.
Unique handmade lamp
The Salago lamp by Danny Fang is emerged from the fascination of capturing the contrast between timeless craftsmanship and the fast pace of mass production in a single lamp.
The lamp consists of a shade made of papier-mâché and wood pulp and a diffuser made of acrylic and is quickly and easily produced; it weighs almost nothing and is at the same time extremely sturdy and durable.
First the lamp appears like an industrially manufactured suspended luminaire, but on the second glance, the special craftsmanship details are revealed that make each lamp to a special one of a kind.
Diffuse light
The surface structure and the material make the Salago pendant lamp seem warm and organic. The natural material blends especially well into surroundings with many plants, but is also a special eye-catcher and contrast to modern and rather linear furniture. Due to the acrylic diffuser, the lamp is in particular suited for the pointed lighting above a desk or dining table.
