the opal glass lamp body is held on a cylinder-shaped aluminium base which also acts as the on/off switch. By turning the base in clockwise direction you can switch on the lamp.
The key feature is a built-in dimmer with intuitive functionality:
Turning also provides additional brightness and lets you customise the light intensity.
