The Bistro folding chair Duraflon by Fermon is a classic outdoor chair made of modern materials. This chair is a great companion on the terrace, in the park or inside the house.
The Bistro folding chair from Fermob was already designed in 1889 with the other folding chairs of the Bistro collection. Back then it was already popular with coffee shop owners and lemonade sellers all over the country.
Simple but robust and kept in a classic style is how the Bistro furniture pieces have all it needs to use them outside. The folding chair as well as the tables are foldable in an instant, in order to be stored space saving when they aren’t needed. The possibility of moving furniture this fast was an advantage for restaurant owners in the 19th century, since they were able to save the taxes for permanent terraces.
Classic Chair made of Modern Materials
The spirit of the Bistro collection didn’t lose any of its charm. The folding chair Duraflon appears with the classic shape, but the material was adapted to today's demands. The battens are made of Duraflon, while the structure is still made of metal. Duraflon is a resistant type of plastic, which is weather-resistant, UV-resistant and extremely durable.
The production in Duraflon is softer, warmer and therefore more comfortable than before. The folding chair Duraflon of the Bistro collection by Fermob is also available in all the other colours offered by the manufacturer. The other pieces of the outdoor collection Bistro are also available.
