Description
Folding Chair with Wooden Seat
The natural Bistro folding chair by Fermob already was presented in 1889 with the other furniture pieces of the Bistro collection. It was and is still an authentic and harmonic friend on the terrace, on a field or inside of the house.
Bistro Collection
The Bistro collection was already designed in 1889. It was desired by coffee shop owners and lemonade sellers all over the country back then. Simple but robust and kept in a classic style is how the Bistro furniture pieces have all we need to use them outside. The chairs by Fermob are foldable to be ported inside and stored without needing much space. The possibility of transporting furniture this fast was good for restaurant owners in the 19th century, since they were able to save the taxes for permanent terraces.
Classic chair made of wood
The spirit of the Bistro collection didn’t lose any of its charm. The natural folding chair appears with the classic shape, but the material was adapted to contemporaneous demands. The seat is made of natural beech wood, while the structure is still made of metal. This is why the chair is weatherproof, UV resistant and extremely durable.
The wooden battens are softer and warmer than those of the classic steel edition, which increases the comfort. The natural folding chair of the Bistro collection by Fermob is also available in the other colours offered by Fermob. And all the other furniture pieces of the Bistro outdoor collection are available.
