Outdoor Dining chair in steel and fabric
The Tropique Outdoor Dining Chair, by French post-war designer Mathieu Matégot for Gubi , delights with its timeless glamour. It is heavily inspired by the outdoor luxury living on the Côte d'Azur, in the mid 20. century. The seat and back of the Tropique Outdoor Dining Chair are made of durable and flexible outdoor fabric. The material is attached to the underside of the curved armrests with pins. This is reminiscent of Matégot's original 1950s design. The look of the classic chair is maintained, yet there is the flexible option to replace the cover fabric. Similar to a hammock, the fabric seat adapts to the contours of the body.
