Mattias Ståhlbom

Mattias Ståhlbom studied interior architecture and furniture design at the Arts University Stockholm. He is partner of the internationally successful Swedish design and architecture studio TAF. His works have already been exposed in excellent museums such as the MoMa in New York and the Stockholm Swedish National Museum.

He emphasized the internationality, but also considers the Scandinavian influence and its “design heritage”.

His philosophy is described by Ståhlbom as follows: “I like uncomplicated ideas and I really focus on working as much as possible with simple methods and materials. Things that use to be completely ordinary become extraordinary this way”.
