Design with check pattern
The check pattern Piekana (rough-legged buzzard) was originally part of a collection called Iso karhu (Ursa Major), which was inspired by a book about the life of Finno-Ugric peoples as well as textiles. These said fabrics were patterned using the traditional ikat dyeing technique.
