The Slab Chair is part of the Slab collection from Tom Dixon and tith it simultaneously practical and surprisingly new.

The Slab Chair emerged out of the idea of a stackable chair with armrests. To allow this combination, the components of the chair have been reduced to the essence, that is why the Slab Chair is made out of less single parts than a common chair.

That the chair still fulfils the highest demands and carries enough weight is due to the special placing of its legs. The chair consists of high quality oak wood that has been formed so that it can adopt the function of several conventional parts.

Through the new position of the legs, the Slab Chair is equally resistant like a conventional chair, but thereby newly and unusual on the first sight.
