The essence of the linea1 shelves lies in their own absence.

The thinnest steel-sheet is bent to a resistant form. The geometry of the folded sheet metal makes a shadow groove to the wall and allows a nearby invisible fixing. The shelves are simply fixed in two height-adjustable holders. The linea1 a _ books and DVDs shelf is adapted to approx. 40 books (up to 15.6 cm of depth) and pocket-books or 46 DVDs.

The shelves are unobtrusive regarding their appearance, while the content is emphasized. The designers Francesco Apuzzo and Irina Jurasic have been nominated for the interior innovation award cologne 08 for it, as well as the shelf has been exposed in the “Design Deutschland: Case Study 08”, curated by the form-council.
