The Blunt umbrella has its striking form from the usage of advanced technologies. The quick-dry polyester furthermore enables the strong structure of the umbrella. The fabric is tensed over the frame out of six stripes whereby the whole construction becomes stronger.
At the same time the Blunt umbrella is a sustainable product: it has been developed to resist the most extreme weather circumstances and the high quality material has for a consequence that the shade remains a faithful company for wind and weather walks along the years.
The strength that comes when the umbrella is opened is spread over the whole tension area by the Radial Tensioning System (RTS). RTS thereby creates a strong, aerodynamic umbrella without sharp edges: the Blunt umbrella.
The Blunt umbrella is opened by the advanced Push-/Pull-handle as well as common umbrellas. However, what happens afterwards is completely different.
Blunt is different because of the cover tension among maximal tension, extremely revolutionary. The frame of the Blunt umbrella is additionally reinforced by the so called “Double Struts”. The strength which comes by opening the Blunt umbrella is led further on to the umbrella struts.
Contrasting common umbrellas, the struts have no fixed length, but are telescopic, the so called “Floating Ribs”. These floating ribs lead the force further on to the patented Blunt-Tips at the end of each umbrella strut. Thereby the Blunt-Tips unfold and spread the strength to the whole borders of the cover tension instead of only one point.
