Bowl made of stainless steel rods
Blow Up Reminiscent of Mikado, Alessi 's bowl is based on the idea of welding hypothetical steel wire scraps together to create different container shapes.
Common to all objects in the Alessi Blow Up collection is the unmistakable signature of the Brazilian Campana brothers. The seemingly random arrangement of the individual metal rods, reminiscent of a Mikado game or explosions, results sometimes in a bowl, sometimes in a plate or a fruit basket. Also interesting is the lively geometric play of shadows that emerges depending on the incidence of light.
Humberto and Fernando Campana chose mirror-polished 18/10 stainless steel as the material for the " Blow Up " objects.
