Nathalie Du Pasquier was born in 1957 in the French Bordeaux, but the designer already lives in the sunny Milan since 1979. Du Pasquier soon attracted attention in the design world being co-founder of the revolutionary Memphis Movement.
Being a designer at Memphis, the French designer focused on textiles, carpets, laminate and some smaller objects and furniture pieces. Nathalie Du Pasquier concentrated on paintings since 1987. Her style is abstract, colourful and geometrical, like a minimalistic Kandinsky.
Du Pasquier didn’t turn her back on design because of her patterns and paintings, since her paintings ornament design products today.
