Playful Floor Lamp
The Filo floor lamp was designed by Andrea Anastasio for Foscarini, whose aim was to draw attention to the individual components of a lamp in an unusual way. Together, the lightbulb, cable, and decorative elements form a light object that looks more like an artistic installation than a classic lamp.
Focus on the Cable, Diffuser and Embellishments
Anastasio's Filo floor lamp for Foscarini is based on a metal base with a round foot and hook, on which a coloured textile cable is loosely hung. Large, coloured glass balls that vary in shape adorn the cable. The end of the cable consists of a cone-shaped porcelain diffuser that houses the lightbulb.
The decorative design of the 1.52 m high floor lamp is a real eye-catcher in every room, characterised by a touch of irony and a high degree of uniqueness. The downward facing shade offers indirect light and produces a soft ambience thanks to the glowing glass object. Used as comfortable background lighting in the living room and bedroom or to stylishly illuminate the hallway, the light is a real eye-catcher that further enhances any interior.
