Lamp with Flexible Base
The Tango floor lamp by Francisco Gomez Paz for Luceplan is the first light that dances around the room. The innovative light was inspired by the harmonious and sensual movements of the Tango, which resulted in a frame, which allows to be moved through light touches in order to determine the direction of the light beam.
Triangular Steel and Aluminium Poles
The luminaire consists of a triangular steel base and three aluminium poles, which are again connected at the top by a triangle. The LEDs, which emit a diffuse, indirect light through the methacrylate diffuser are located in the upper triangle.
Adjustable Angle by Hub
The special feature of the lamp is that the poles don't go straight up, but cross on the way upwards; thereby creating a flexible point through which the lamp’s position allows to be adjusted. The angle of the three poles allow to be changed by gentle pushes or pulls and the hub is shifted upwards or downwards. This way the lamp can be easily positioned at a different angle and the light is pointing in the desired direction.
