The winners of the Form design award – FORM – Form aus Handwerk und Industrie out of handicraft and industry have been chosen. Among the chosen manufacturers there are also Stelton, Koziol, Konstantin Slawinski and Raumgestalt. The award is given during the Design Fair Tendence as a tradition and offers thereby an overview of the development and novelties in the area of high quality industry and manufacture products.
Stelton received the Form 2011 for its storage boxes and the bread box of its new collection Rig-Tig. Koziol received the award for the Leaf salad bowl and the Mixxx mixing bowl. Konstantin Slawinski is enqueued in the list of the winners with its mixing tongs SL27 and Raumgestalt with the Black Wood stool.
The Form design award is offered by the Bundesverband Kunsthandwerk e.V. and makes the bridge between industry and design. The whole fair products are characterized by innovative shaping, product adapted materials and manufacture, functionality at utility objects as well as a convincing whole concept.
138 Tendence expositors out of 18 countries were inscribed in the competition. A jury of renowned professionals chose 124 objects of 57 expositors. The results of the Form competition were presented on the Tendence fair in Frankfurt am Main.
The Form design award 2011 „FORM 2011 – Form aus Handwerk und Industrie“ is given every year in cooperation with the Messe Frankfurt GmbH. The presentation of the winners offers an overview of the most important development and novelties in high quality industry and manufacture products.
