Danish Designer Furniture Made of Spanish Leather

Ox Denmarq is a Danish company that manufactures modern designer furniture made from innovative materials. The first drafts were made mainly from vegetable tanned leather combined with stainless steel or wood. Since then, the portfolio has expanded to materials such as marble, brass and copper.

The manufacturer's name consists of two words: Ox is a tribute to the leather and the animal. Denmarq refers to the co-founder of ox Denmarq and designer Dennis Marquart, who founded the company in 2004 and who comes from Denmark.

Ox leather is made mainly from Spanish cattle. The leather is 100% vegetable tanned, so the surface of the leather is not changed. Spanish cattle spend most of their life in the pasture and not in the stable. Nature can leave its traces in the form of mosquito bites or scars, which decides the character of the leather.

Danish tradition, quality materials and skilled artisans from Spain and Denmark are the basis for the production of ox Denmarq’s unique products made from leather, wood, marble, brass and copper. The leather furniture by ox Denmarq gets more beautiful over time and develops a unique patina.
