Leading Brand of the Steamer Industry
SteamOne was founded by two brothers who designed and manufactured ready-to-wear brands. In 1999, David and Olivier Gabison saw the Steamer on a fashion show in America for the first time—a vertical iron, that smoothed out clothes with steam, while it hung practically on a clothes hanger. The American textile industry had been using steamers since the 1950s, making it possible to iron garments quickly and efficiently.
In 2003, the two brothers imported the steamer from America and brought it to one of their European ready-to-wear fashion shows. The interest in the steamer was so great, that they decided to bring a collection of steamers to the market, alongside their fashion business. They founded the company SteamOne—the first European manufacturer of steamers.
Unlike the classic iron, the steamer SteamOne smoothes all types of fabric whether synthetic or natural, without any condensation forming or stains being left on the garments. Muslin, silk, cotton, tulle, embroideries, lace, beads, organza, wool, taffeta, can all be gently cleaned just as reliably as the more robust materials such as denim and thick cotton. The favorite blouse as well as the precious wedding dress can both be treated with the steamer without any problems. The hot steam not only smoothes the material, but it also has a sterilizing effect. It removes unpleasant odors, dust mites, bedbugs, germs and allergens, such as house dust, pollen or animal hair.
With the SteamOne steamer, curtains, sofas, clothes, textiles such as bedclothes and tablecloths and carpets are reliably pressed and sterilized. For professional use, the steamer is ideal for boutiques, restaurants, hotels, theaters, operas and laundrettes. Even the biggest ready-to-wear brands use SteamOne.
