Davy Grosemans Description

The designer Davy Grosemans came out of the Belgian province Limburg. He works for the in Belgium based Hasselt company “Creneau”, which is specialized on graph design and furnishing of gastronomy and private houses.

Furthermore he leads his own design studio “Das Ding” in Dubai. Besides the pioneer work for Sywawa (Breezer, Frou Frou, Hole in One) he also designed an icon for the illumination company Dark (among others also “Son of Eddy” and “Chubby”) and som fun design projects such as “Milkmaid” and “TWC”.

The Cube Seat and sunshade stand that Davy Grosemans designed for the Sywawa company have been honored with the iF Award in Gold in 2008, one prestigious award that is only given to few products.
