In 2004, Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu founded the design and research office Neri&Hu. An interdisciplinary office for the sections architecture, interior, graphic- and product design with branches in Shanghai and London.
Neri&Hu see the research as an important design tool. Every project is based on separate context questions, which influence the design. A critical questioning of location, function and history are considerable factors, which influence the meaning and the shape of the design. This means that the design doesn’t follow any given formula, but is composed of the dynamic interaction of experience, material, shape and light.
Inspired by the flair of the metropolises Shanghai and London, the game of contrasts is characteristic for the design by Neri&Hu.
Extravagant design, next to classical shapes. Materials like wood, metal and plastic develop an exciting symbiosis in the Neri&Hu product development.
Awarded as the Designer of the Year 2015 by Maison&Object Asia.
