Mario Mazzer Description

Born in 1955, Mario Mazzer finished his architecture studies in Mailand in 1978 and gets his diploma as an industrial designer at the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan in 1979. Here he worked in cooperation with Italian designers.

In the 80ies he opened his own designer studio. Mario Mazzer works in all kinds of areas, architecture, interior design, and industrial design. Because of the conferences, and exhibitions in museums and design expos did he accomplish a cultural discussion about design.

He was awarded at the competition ''YOUNG & DESIGN'' in 1988 and 1989 with an eulogistic mentioning. In 1991 did he win in the same competition first place. In 1996 he received a ''Honorable Mention“ in the American designer magazine "ID ANNUAL DESIGN REVIEW". His crations were choosed into the ADI DESIGN INDEX and in the INTERNATIONAL DESIGN YEARBOOK. In the year 2001 was a monograph wit the title ''THINKING ABOUT THINGS“ - Mario Mazzer Designer published. In the industrial design area did he work in cooperation with a lot of business men.
