Shunji Yamanaka Description

After Shunji Yamanaka successfully finished his engineer studies at the University of Tokyo in 1982, he did initially work for the Nissan Motor’s Design Center. From 1987 on he worked independently as freelance designer and created the most different sophisticated works – from the wristwatch until railway wagons.

Shunji Yamanaka taught as professor at the Institute for Engineering at the Tokyo University from 1991 to 1994 and then directly founded the „Leading Edge Design“.
