Andrea Morgante was born in Milan in 1972. He made his diploma as an architect and went to London in 1997, where he began working together with RMJM. In the year 2001 he came to the Future Systems studio, where he became Director together with Jan Kaplicky in 2006; among his works were the building for Selfridges in Birmingham as well as numerous international competitions, design projects and finally the planning of the Museum Enzo Ferrari in Modena, for which he took the responsibility of finishing it after Kaplicky’s death in 2009.
In 2008, Andrea Morgante worked together with Ross Lovegrove and during this cooperation he concentrated on achievable architectural projects. He founded Shiro Studio in 2009 in London. His daily work in architecture and design is always based on the same project-approach, characterized by the durable passion for anatomy, digital manufacturing, botanics, airplane-technique and philosophy.
