The 1946 born Lin Utzon is a Danish designer and arts handicraft worker. She lives in Hellebæk together with the architect Jørn Utzon and their children Jan and Kim.
Fascinated by the Japanese art and culture, Lin Utzon is famous for her abstract shaping, combined with clear, Nordic design. She visited schools in Sidney, Kyoto and Tokyo, where she made her apprenticeship and developed her own style until perfection.
The broadband of Utzon’s works reaches from porcelain series for Royal Copenhagen over costumes design for the royal Danish ballet up to interior architecture. This is how she designed the interior of the Bagsværd church and worked for Volvo and IBM.
