Danish Design
Lise Navne (* 1979) is a Danish product designer who graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London in 2006 and since then works as independent designer for various international companies.
Her design objects combine traditional craftsmanship with innovative design and thus become timeless objects that you want at your home or decorate public areas with such as lobbies of hotels. One of Lise's bigger projects was to design the interior of the stores of the Danish fashion chain VILA. And she became well-known for the iconic pendant by Le Klint in the form of a donut.
"I believe that design represents inspiration, creativity, dreams and opportunities, an it is also the result of a thorough process of research, interpretation, selection and rejection. Design must encourage the consumer and the manufacturer to move in a new direction. The design tells a story, and presents the consumer with an opportunity to stand out from the crowd and express himself through the product. It is through the process of selection and rejection that we demonstrate who we really are." Designerin Lisa Navne
