The industrial desiginer was born in Friedrichshafen near the Bodensee in Germany and lives today near it , too, but in Lindau.
After trainings in different design- and architecture offices, e.g. BMW, did he found already before he graduated his industrial design studies at the college in Munich in 1996 his own office XXD Produktdesign GmbH.
In 1997 he received his diploma and also the Roten Punkt for the highest design quality of his designed ground level lawn bed C4. Since 2001 does Max Kistner work in cooperation with Klein & More.
