A bird cage in which you can swing freely, lights that divide like trees or a table on which you can play with marbles: The fantastic world of Ontwerpduo is the result of the collaboration and chemistry between Tineke Beunders and Nathan Wierink. The designers got to know each other during their studies and what started as a duo is now one of the most renowned design studios in the Netherlands.
Tineke likes to imagine things a little differently by inventing new features for them, largely ignoring practical or technical limitations. Often these things are in a form that seems impossible - until Nathan participates. With him, Tineke's ideas prove feasible. The result are products that have a female and a male side. Colour and charm combined with function and technology.
Ontwerpduo's premises are located on the site of a former Philips factory in Eindhoven. Part of the production for their own production and that for other renowned manufacturers is carried out there, and the rest is produced as close as possible to home: mostly in the Netherlands, but never outside Europe.
