Oscar Tusquets Blanca is a Spanish designer, architect, painter and author. His designs are marked by the Catalonian culture and draw from the rich artistic heritage of the Spanish capital.

In 1964, Oscar Tusquets Blanca founded the studio PER, together with his former fellow students, architect and industrial designer Pep Bonet, Christián Cirici und Lluís Clote, which became the manufacturing company B.D. Ediciones de Diseño in 1972, now BD Barcelona. BD Barcelona is an innovative manufacturer, which connects traditional Spanish elements with modern design.

Oscar Tusquets Blanca worked together really closely with the Spanish artist Salvadore Dalí, with who he, among other things, designed the iconic Dalips Sofa. He was also significantly inspired by him, for the design of the Gaulio Chair.
As an industrial designer, Tusquet Blanca designs for BD Barcelona and other producers like Driade, Alessi und Ritzenhof furniture, lights and commodity, also innovative carpet art for nanimarquina.

Oscar Tusquets Blanca is a creative all-round talent, who realizes his ideas and inspirations in the disciplines of painting, architecture, graphic and literature.
