Tonn-P Wooden Design from Denmark

Sven Erik Tonn-Petersen (1925-2004) was a self-taught Danish designer and inventor who created a wide range of high-quality designs under the name Tonn-P.

Tonn-P had a large "appetite for life" and lived a festive, adventurous life, full of humour and joy. He created harmonious and functional designs from many different types of materials such as wood, plastic and metal. The creations by Tonn-P were characterised by a self-conscious expression and harmonious, functional and contemporary design.

The Pepper Bird, the Salt Egg and Caravel are only a few of his designs. He also produced furniture, lamps, sculptures, cigar boxes, clocks with inlaid metal and much more.
