Weaver and Artisan for Georg Jensen Damask
The Danish weaver and artisan Bodil Bødtker-Næss had been part of the Georg Jensen Damask family since the 1970s. Her simple yet distinctive designs have had a significant place in the traditional weaving company's collection for decades.
Her tablecloths for Christmas and Easter that combine geometric shapes and warm colours are particularly beautiful. Bødtker Næss worked primarily with unusual materials such as jute, nylon and others, for which she received a number of prizes and awards throughout her career.
